The Northern Lights Health Foundation has partnered with the Alberta Cancer Foundation to support fundraising to replace and update the two mobile breast cancer screening units that travel throughout Alberta. These units bring access to rural and remote communities - over 120 communities including 26 Indigenous communities are served. The Northern Lights Health Foundation is proud to support this provincial-wide initiative; especially as the units provide diagnostic services to the communities of Conklin, Janvier, Anzac, Fort McMurray First Nation, and Fort McKay First Nation within our regional scope. Your support ensures that women in rural communities have breast cancer screening in their communities - helping to keep healthcare close to home.
