Angels Among Us Celebrates Caring

Our community has been through a lot - and has always come out stronger. It's because the people of our region care for each other and protect each other.

When the flood waters were rising and homes and businesses were evacuating and the water crept closer to the hospital, community members leapt into action. The outpouring of caring as people built a sandbag barrier in the hospital parking lot truly represented the actions of volunteers, emergency personnel and frontline workers throughout the downtown to save critical infrastructure, homes and heritage buildings.

Amy Keller-Rempp was so touched by the generous actions she saw that she immediately created this outstanding painting entitled, Angels Among Us. Amy has produced prints which are available for donations of $30 or more with the proceeds going to local charities. The Northern Lights Health Foundation is proud to be one of chosen charities. Thank you Amy for capturing this beautiful moment and for supporting the Northern Lights Health Foundation with this tribute to the volunteers, emergency personnel and frontline workers.
