Driven to Give: North Star Ford Lincoln and Wood Buffalo Residents Hope to Raise $10,000 for the Northern Lights Health Foundation

Fort McMurray, Alberta – Lincoln and its dealers have launched a new program called Driven to Give, a program designed to help raise much needed funding for social profit organizations in their communities.

North Star Ford is bringing Lincoln’s Driven to Give program to the Wood Buffalo community in
an effort to raise up to $10,000 for the Northern Lights Health Foundation!

“The Health Foundation is thrilled to be partnering with North Star Ford for Driven to Give,” says Susanne Chaffey, Executive Director of the Health Foundation. “North Star Ford is a tremendous supporter of community health care and we’re proud to be their charity of choice for this great initiative.”
For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives an eligible Lincoln vehicle at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre’s lower parking lot, located at 7 Hospital Street, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, North Star Ford and Lincoln will donate $50 to the Health Foundation. The funds will aid in funding new medical equipment, programs and services in our region.

“We know funding for community programs is hard to come by, and we want to do our
part to ensure these programs remain available,” says Marty Giles, General Manager of North Star Ford. “We’re excited to raise money for the Northern Lights Health Foundation.”

The event will feature a FREE barbeque along with Lincoln’s Next Generation lineup. On site dealership staff will be able to assist with all Lincoln vehicles and provide additional information about each vehicle available for test-drive.

To participate in this exciting event, please visit the Health Centre’s lower parking lot at 7 Hospital Street, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household. All test-drives will last approximately five to seven minutes.
