Edmonton Oilers Foundation 50/50 Draw - Let's Go!
The Edmonton Oilers Foundation makes Northern Lights Health Foundation a winner during this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Fort McMurray, May 19, 2021 – The start of the NHL playoffs is always an exciting time of year. This year, it’s more special than ever for the Northern Lights Health Foundation. During the first two games of the Stanley Cup playoffs, on May 19th and 21st, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation has chosen NLHF as one of the recipients of funds from their enormously successful 50/50 Draws. NLHF’s share of the proceeds will go Operation Frontline Impact, supporting frontline healthcare workers at hospitals and other healthcare facilities across northern Alberta.
“This is very exciting news for every health facility and healthcare worker in northern Alberta,” says Cindy Amerongen, Executive Director of NLHF. “These draws are huge and the funds will make a major impact. We encourage people to buy a ticket, in fact to buy many tickets. In this draw, everyone is a winner.”
