Health Foundation receives $25,000 gift from
RE/MAX Fort McMurray in support of community health care

Fort McMurray, Alberta – The Northern Lights Health Foundation is receiving a generous gift of $25,000 from RE/MAX Fort McMurray in support of community health care in Wood Buffalo. The funds were raised this past summer as part of RE/MAX Fort McMurray’s 2014 Charity Golf Classic. The Health Foundation will host a cheque presentation on Monday, Oct. 6 at the RE/MAX Fort McMurray office.

Through their generous gift, RE/MAX helps transform local health care through their support of the Health Foundation. The funds will support the Health Foundation’s efforts to enhance the quality of health and wellness services for those who live and work within the region.

“The Health Foundation is very proud to be receiving RE/MAX’s generous gift of $25,000 in support of health and wellness in our community. RE/MAX has been a tremendous supporter of the Health Foundation for several years and we thank them for their continued commitment to community health care,” says Susanne Chaffey, Executive Director of the Health Foundation. “Their gift will truly impact the lives of patients, families and health care providers locally.”

“RE/MAX Fort McMurray is excited to recognize the dedication of the Northern Lights Health Foundation in maintaining the link between health, wellness and the lives of the Wood Buffalo community,” said Katie Ekroth, Broker of RE/MAX Fort McMurray. “We are extremely grateful to all the sponsors of the 2014 Annual Charity Golf Classic and we would like to thank everyone who got involved and made this donation possible.”

For over 20 years, RE/MAX has been the number one real estate organization in Canada. Woven into the fabric of the RE/MAX organization is a deep commitment to community. Their real estate professionals are community leaders devoting their own personal time and raising dollars for countless charities and causes where they live, work and play.
