Thank you for the Smiles!

Tim Horton's annual Smile Cookie Week wrapped up on Sunday September 29th. We want to offer a huge thank you to staff at the local Tim Horton's locations at Eagle Ridge, Thickwood, Hardin Street and the YMM Airport for their amazing fundraising.

Can you imagine baking and decorating 19,459 cookies in a week while keeping your regular and seasonal food offerings coming out the kitchen efficiently and effectively? Well, the Health Foundation staff all took a turn at decorating the cookies and we can tell you - it's harder than it looks!

Here are a couple of interesting bits of information about this year #SmileCookie campaign:

• over 550 Tim Horton's stores participated
• over $8.9million was raised
• all proceeds of Smile Cookies go to local (to their area) charities and non-profits
• the four combined Fort McMurray locations were 4th in sales in Alberta!!!

Thank you again for your support. Funds raised locally stay local and will be pooled to fund local Alberta Health Services health care initiatives through the Northern Lights Health Foundation!
