Audited Financial Statements and CRA T3010 Return
The Northern Lights Health Foundation employs a small team of administration and fundraising personnel and has operational costs to maintain its charitable license and ability to operate as a going concern. These expenses provide the means necessary to raise the millions of dollars for health care annually and to help support priority needs not covered by other health care funding through taxation.
As a donor, it’s important to know that a portion (up to 10%) of your restricted gift will be allocated to cover Northern Lights Health Foundation expenses. Operational expenses will also be covered through unrestricted donations and event fundraising. The Health Foundation Board of Directors, a group of dedicated community members, establishes and monitors the operational allocation amount as part of the annual budgeting process. The Board allocates over $1.5M annually to AHS Grants.
In the 2024-2025 fiscal year (April 2024 – March 2025), we hope to raise $3.61M at an estimated cost of $1.44M.
