Fort McMurray, AB [June 17, 2024] – The Northern Lights Health Foundation (NLHF) is excited to announce the return of the highly anticipated 7th Annual Hospital Bed Races, proudly presented by Birch Mountain Enterprises. This thrilling event will take place on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 in Fort McMurray.
Teams of four will showcase their spirit and determination by dressing in creative costumes and pushing a hospital bed with a 150-pound sandbag ‘BedBug’ in 50-metre sprints. The competition is fierce, with the prestigious Golden Bedpan Trophy awarded to the fastest team. Additional prizes will be given for Team Spirit and top fundraisers, making this event an exhilarating and memorable experience for all involved.
