HOCKEY LEGENDS

A Legendary Night: Hockey Icons and Community Spirit Shine at
‘A Night with Hockey Legends’ Presented by Bouchier

The Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation celebrates the resounding success of A Night with Hockey Legends, presented by Bouchier.
The sold-out event combined sports history with community philanthropy for an unforgettable evening in support of local healthcare.
The atmosphere was electric as Ray Bourque, Wendel Clark, Doug Gilmour, and Craig MacTavish personally welcomed guests, mingling for
photos and conversation during an intimate cocktail hour. This connection carried into dinner, where the Legends joined guests at their tables, offering
a truly immersive experience.
Sportscaster Rod Black opened the evening with celebrity impressions, setting a lively tone for the night’s centerpiece: a fireside conversation with the four NHL icons. The legends captivated the audience, sharing candid stories from the ice, reflections on their legacies, and perspectives on the modern NHL.
“The energy in the room reflected the spirit of our region,” said Vanessa MacNevin, CEO of the Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation. “To hear these icons share their journeys in such an intimate setting was a rare gift. Moments like these remind us that when we come together, we strengthen the foundation of healthcare for every family in Wood Buffalo.”
A major highlight was the live auction, featuring curated experiences with the legends. In a moment of spontaneity, Ray Bourque stepped
to the microphone as guest auctioneer, driving up bids with the same precision he once displayed on the blue line.
The evening’s success was made possible through the support of presenting sponsor Bouchier.
The Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to the guests, sponsors, and volunteers who contributed to the evening. Together, we continue to impact the health and wellness of the Wood Buffalo region for generations to come.
